Data Processing Specialist- Plainview, NY

Full-service direct mail, marketing firm has a position for experienced, self-motivated Data Processing Specialist.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Analyze client-supplied data prior to job processing.  Ensure job tickets contain all the information needed to properly complete the job.
  • Use the appropriate software programs and utilities to accurately complete the work. (BCC/Accuzip)
  • Process mail list data to include, importing, processing and output of customer mailing lists.
  • Manipulate data for mail processing and/or variable data printing.
  • Create MIDs/CRIDs and prepare paperwork for mail delivery.
  • Responsible for inkjet and digital address layouts (PSL).
  • Work with digital operation on variable data format and design.
  • Adhere to established quality-control procedures. Review list(s) and data process for QC purposes.
  • Complete all paperwork and reports for downstream work centers and departments.
  • Communicate with the appropriate departments to provide job status information.
