Cecilia Calvao-Fernandes

Controller

Cecilia Calvao-Fernandes began working for Didit in 2001 while employed at Medical Arts Office Services, a firm she'd been at for more than ten years, holding numerous roles in its Finance Department. She joined Didit as a full-time employee in 2005. Cecilia grew up in Mineola, New York, and current resides in Selden with her family.

Renee has been a member of the Didit team since the summer of 2005. In her current role, Renee applies her keen sense of detail and strong organizational skills to the overall department management as well as relationship management to our marquee clients. As the leader of the largest department within Didit, Renee ensures the inter-departmental integration within the company is top priority.

Vice President, Engineering

Matt is in charge of all technology-related aspects of Didit including Maestro development, support and infrastructure, as well as corporate applications and infrastructure. Matt’s background is in embedded real-time software engineering. He has worked for such companies as Lockheed Martin Fairchild Systems and Computer Associates.

John Virgil

Vice President, Operations

John started working for Didit in 2000 as a key member of the software engineering team, charged with the design and development of the original Maestro system. Subsequently, he made the decision to become a Sales Engineer, where he worked with the Sales and Client Services Departments on technology-related issues. In his current role he uses his vast experience with the company to solve issues with processes, improve the use of Maestro, and improve our internal communications system.

Heidi Zafran

Vice President of Human Resources

In this role, Heidi is responsible for attracting and retaining the type of superior talent that Didit needs to service the most complex campaigns in the industry and maintain its position as a growing, cutting-edge business. Heidi came to Didit from Hudson, a global staffing and solutions firm, where she was also Director of HR. Prior to Hudson, Heidi spent most of her career at Grey Worldwide (now part of the WPP group) where she was Vice President of Human Resources.

Mark Simon

Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Mark is responsible for all new client acquisition to Didit services through sales and marketing channels. He develops and launches all new marketing initiatives for Didit’s target audience to stimulate interest and leads for the business development team.

From co-founding the company in 1996 to his election as SEMPO Chair, the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization, in 2005, Kevin Lee has shaped both Didit and the entire search engine marketing field. As author of the seminal work on search strategy, Search Engine Secrets; a weekly columnist for the search engine news source ClickZ; and a frequent contributor to Catalog Age, Kevin's influential views on Search Engine Marketing have been read by thousands.

Dave Pasternack

President and Co-Founder

Dave co-founded Didit with Kevin Lee in 1996. Prior to this, he launched the United States Information Corporation, which became one of the largest electronic publishers of Federal Government bidding and contract information in the United States. Dave's first technological direct marketing company, Logicsoft, was founded in 1980 and was named by Inc. Magazine as the 4th fastest growing private company of 1984. Dave earned his MBA from New York University.
